This has been a long weekend for the boys - sort of a good one. They got out early from school on Thursday and will go back tomorrow. So they are really taking advantage of today - just right with no jackets.
Another spring task was accomplished earlier. Dale - my husband - built a couple of bluebird houses. This pattern is quite different than any we've ever seen. The entry hole for the birds is on the bottom of the house. Not sure how this will work since it might make it easier for a snake to invade. From what I have read on the internet, people either hate them or love them. So I guess we'll see.....
It sure will be nice when everything greens up and all the flowers are blooming. However, some of the flowers, etc. are still recuperating from the late spring freeze we had one year. Guess it will take awhile for them to get back to normal.
